Mexico, Dec. 13 (Notimex).- Trivago.com noted that Acapulco, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta top the list of preferred cities to spend the New Year, with an average price of accommodation of three thousand 980 pesos per night and average stay of 4.2 days.
According to the list of online travel searchers, among the favorite destinations to celebrate the arrival of 2018, there are only two in another country, which shows a marked preference of Mexican travelers for national destinations.
In a statement, the main city in the ranking is Acapulco, followed by Cancún and Puerto Vallarta; Mazatlán occupies the fourth position, followed by Playa del Carmen, Huatulco, Nuevo Vallarta, Manzanillo, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and in tenth position Veracruz.
In eleventh place is Las Vegas and in twelfth New York, both cities in the United States, destination in which Mexicans spend the greatest number of days of lodging, with an average of six days.
The cities in which the highest budget is allocated per night of accommodation are Nuevo Vallarta, with an average price of seven thousand 651 pesos per night, followed by Cancun, with seven thousand 286 pesos and Playa del Carmen, with six thousand 814 pesos per night.
At the other extreme, Oaxaca, Mexico City and Guadalajara receive the lowest budget, the latter being the one with the lowest budget, with just one thousand 50 pesos.
