Puebla, Mexico, Mar. 13 (Notimex).- Through the "State Land Bank" trust, the state administration will transfer to the Ministry of the Navy a plot of 20 hectares, located in the municipality of San José Chiapa, for the installation of naval infrastructure.
This was established after the signing of a collaboration agreement signed by the Secretary of the Navy, Vidal Soberón Sanz and the Governor of Puebla, Antonio Gali Fayad.
It was also reported that the Federation will allocate an investment of 160 million pesos for its construction, which will include the construction of the Optoelectronic Maintenance Center of the Mexican Navy.
It is a unique center of its kind, which will have workshops and electronics laboratories to perform repair and maintenance of different units.
During the signing of the agreement, held the day before in the capital of the country, Admiral Vidal Soberón Sanz said that this will have systems such as fire, photometric, infrared and night vision directors, among others.
In addition, it will have machinery, equipment and highly specialized personnel with the objective of increasing the level of immediate operational response.
"On the part of the armed forces, as long as it is the will of our people, we will continue to give the best of ourselves, for the sake of their well-being. I am certain that the signature of this agreement strengthens the good relationship between this federative entity and our institution. May the union and the desire to serve Mexico be the guide that keeps our ship towards new horizons," he stressed.
He also indicated that the naval logistics train could also be strengthened in the center, southeast and southwest of the country.
For his part, the Governor of Puebla recognized the Navy and President Enrique Peña Nieto, for being allies of society and for contributing to the strengthening of the economy and the security of the entity with the establishment of these works.
He stressed that this will be built and also in the future, the complementary building that will allow its full functionality and the operation of naval marines in disaster areas in the face of natural eventualities.
"Together, we reaffirm the Mexicans that Puebla and the Navy of Mexico are collaborating to accomplish great national purposes." I'm sure that this collaboration will be for the good of the Nation, that our common interest will be the guide and inspiration towards new horizons of progress, "he said.
He also recalled that the development of Puebla is boosted with the arrival of the Military Industry in which one billion pesos were allocated that will generate five thousand temporary jobs and 12 thousand more in the medium term.
