Mexico, Apr. 13 (Notimex).- During the first quarter of 2018, Peugeot Mexico achieved cumulative sales growth of 8.3 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, while the overall market dropped 10.8 percentage points.
In a statement, the French car brand reported a sales level 15 times higher than during the first quarter of the previous year, also, the commercial performance of the Peugeot Professional range represented by the Partner, Expert and Manager models, recorded a growth of 20 percent in the period.
The CEO of Peugeot Mexico, Igor Dumas, commented that "with the presentation and availability in Mexico of the new SUV range, Mexican consumers have favored us with their preference, the three truck models that make up the line, incorporate the characteristics that a demanding consumer waits."
He explained that the offer of sedans, sports cars, SUVs and professionals, adheres the effort of the network of distributors who have trusted in the brand, as an example of this is the recent opening of the first agency in Tampico, Tamaulipas hand in hand of the local business group Refrance.
