European company inaugurates solar park in Nuevo León

Mexico, May 16 (Notimex).- The company specializing in energy management, Schneider Electric, opened its Solar Park in Monterrey, Nuevo León, with the aim of promoting research and be used as a prototype laboratory to perform beta tests of products, as well as monitoring the operation of monitoring software.

The general director of the company, Enrique González Haas, said that since they arrived in Monterrey, they have made every effort to strengthen the capabilities and scope of their development and research center.

In fact, currently public and private Higher Education Institutions, as well as Research Centers in the entity, make a productive use of facilities.

According to a company statement, the Schneider Electric Solar Park has a maximum capacity of 270 kilowatts peak, 900 solar panels with a maximum capacity of 300 watts peak each, nine inverters connected to the electricity grid and an annual production of energy of up to 390 thousand kilowatts per hour.

The company stated that the primary objective is to promote research; therefore, it is used as a prototype laboratory to carry out beta testing of products and to monitor the operation of monitoring software in solutions for energy management.

In addition to a potential expansion of seven thousand additional square meters, which will make it possible to do various researches in renewable energy.
