Mexico, Jul. 11 (Notimex).- In the first half of the year, Interjet reported an increase of 14.4 percent in the movement of passengers, an increase that was driven by traffic nationwide.
These results reflect the confidence of customers for the quality service offered, "in addition to the current commercial strategy we have," said the general director of the airline, José Luis Garza.
In a statement, he explained that during the aforementioned period it mobilized six million 702 thousand 642 passengers, a figure higher than the five million 860 thousand 241 passengers registered in the same period of 2017.
From January to June, the airline transported one million 738 thousand 595 international passengers, more than one million 241 thousand 732 registered in the same period of 2017, which represents an increase of 40 percent.
He explained that only in June it registered a growth of 38.9 percent in the mobilization of international passengers, going from 271 thousand 877 in June of 2017, to 302 thousand 639 travelers in the sixth month of this year.
