Mexico, Jul. 11 (Notimex).- The technology company IBM, operates in 172 countries, where the Mexican market is among the top 20 for the company and has a great opportunity for growth, said its president in Mexico, Eduardo Gutiérrez.
According to the manager, there is a positive trend towards digitalization in the country.
"The market exists, evidently in this process of digital transformation some customers go much faster than others, but sooner than later they must make the decision that a digital transformation in their business model is necessary," he said in an interview with Notimex.
For Eduardo Gutiérrez, the growth of the industries, such as banking, manufacturing and retail in Mexico gives him the opportunity to boost digitization, as well as being partners of those companies that operate in the market.
"We have worked in the transformation of our own employees and are specialists in the banking industry, in the insurance industry, in the manufacturing industry, which allows us to have a conversation with our clients basically about what their points are and in what way we could help them solve them," he said.
For the president of the firm in Mexico, the fact that they have a technological center in the country where there is an important development that generates solutions for the whole world, is more relevant with respect to other countries.
"The technological campus of Guadalajara is a company that is made for the world, where we work to provide solutions to the world, where at IBM we have the advantage that we can have the people who participate in the development of this technology to be able to develop local level solutions".
He highlighted that in this center software applications are developed and supported for different clients in the world, there are also competence centers that handle IBM operations, as a collection center that handles all items for the American continent.
