Mexico, Oct. 10 (Notimex).- This day the JAC brand launches its SEI 7 model as part of the acceptance of the other vans in the Mexican market, with a model of new technologies and dimensions, a personal and family luxury vehicle.
Elias Massri, president and general manager of the Chinese brand, said that this model is already on sale in the 25 brand agencies in this country, with the goal of concluding with five more for this year, and in 2019 it will reach 40 agencies in total.
The brand of Chinese origin has a year and a half of operations in the Mexican market, with a factory in Ciudad Sahagun, where several models are produced, including the SEI 2, SEI 3, the J4, and now the SEI 7.
While the next month will be launched the Pick-up double cabin, with a load capacity of ton and a half, made in Mexico.
It should be noted that the Ciudad Sahagun plant has a production capacity of more than 20 thousand units per year, although at the moment five thousand units are manufactured per year.
The JAC brand has been received better than expected by the Mexican consumer, with five years warranty, fixed prices and very well equipped all models.
"Although JAC is a large producer of electric vehicles, so they will soon arrive in this country, which is in fact one of the main producers of electric vehicles in China and in the world," he said.
Last year, one thousand 500 units were sold, and this year five thousand units will be sold. The factory is currently focused on the Mexican market, but will eventually be exported to all of Latin America; in fact, in this region, only Mexico produces, so the plans for this operation are broad, the executive said.
