Mexico, May 13 (Notimex). - President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that he analyzes his participation in the G-20 summit in Japan at the end of June.
"I am analyzing it, I am considering it because I am busy full time in attending national affairs," he said at a press conference.
He commented that before the current situation facing the country, the most important thing is to improve the economy, welfare in Mexico, ensure peace and tranquility.
He considered that "if not at all times, the best foreign policy is the interior. I do not want to be a lamp of the street and darkness of the house," he expressed.
In the Treasury Hall of the National Palace, he explained that although the G-20 is an important meeting, "I am analyzing it".
He recalled that his government works as a team, "here we divide the work, it is a team and I feel very well represented by Marcelo Ebrard, minister of Foreign Affairs. Then, we will value it and we will decide at the time ".
The G-20 is the main international forum for economic, financial and political cooperation, whose members tackle the great global challenges, for the sake of generating public policies that resolve them.
It is composed of the main economies of the world, the European Union and 19 countries: Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, South Korea, United States, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, Russia, South Africa and Turkey.
