Mexico, May 24 (Notimex) .- With the objective of closing the digital breach and promoting equitable access to new technologies, the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT, for its acronym in Spanish) undertook a new model for the training of users in the 32 Centers of Digital Inclusion
It referred that the New Model of Development and Skills Training in the Digital Inclusion Centers launched by the Communications Deputy-ministry, allows the general population to have access to various courses with the support of facilitators.
The courses range from the use of Internet facilities, basic knowledge of the use of the computer, robotic programming, to innovation and entrepreneurship that allows them to identify the investment of a product and launch it to the market, according to a statement.
"The constant change in technological trends requires that the digital skills framework should not be based on technology, but on the ability of people to acquire new skills and knowledge."
The accelerated development, it said, has given way to the fourth industrial revolution and therefore to new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, virtual and augmented reality, the Internet of Things, among others.
"The development of public policies requires a new vision, with the aim of including all population groups in social welfare, closing the inequality breach, particularly in the affected communities and stimulating economic development."
In addition, prioritize inclusion and digital transformation that promotes the development of new models, methods and programs of training, in such a way that significant progress is made in reducing the digital inclusion breach, it added.
